A reading practice for people who must submit
Infraflow Application Audit grew from years of sitting with hiring files, admissions dossiers, and fellowship packets—and noticing how often strong candidates were undone by unclear evidence rather than thin experience.
Origin
The practice is based at 4678 Haylie Trafficway in 松山市, 群馬県. Much of the work is remote: annotated files travel faster than trains. In-person debriefs are available when a candidate prefers to walk through notes at the table.
We chose the word “audit” deliberately. An audit of applications is not cheerleading and not ghostwriting. It is a structured reading against criteria the panel already published.
Working approach
Criteria first
Every engagement starts with the brief, call, or job description. Drafts are judged against that text, not against a generic “strong statement” ideal.
Evidence over adjectives
We mark unsupported claims and ask for scenes, dates, partners, and outcomes. Praise language without proof is cut.
Packet coherence
CV, letter, and statement must tell compatible stories. We flag contradictions between documents before a panel does.
Deadline honesty
If your timeline only allows surface notes, we say so. Structural rebuilds need calendar space.
Values with clients
Confidentiality is non-negotiable: application materials stay between you and the auditor assigned to your file. We do not guarantee offers, rankings, or funding. We do guarantee a clear memo, annotated drafts, and a conversation that leaves you knowing what to change first.
English is our working language for international and bilingual packets. We are familiar with Japanese university calendars, public holidays, and the habit of internal review before an external portal opens.
